After Gold and Silver, books are one of my favorite targets at garage sales. I picked this one up for 10 cents!

Very nice!

I found a book for cheap called "the 91st, The First at Camp Lewis" printed in 1919 dealing with the pre-history of Fort Lewis, WA and the area surrounding it and history of the founding and building of camp Lewis and subsequent role it played in WWI.

It's a really interesting read, as I'm sure your book is as well!

Again, great find!

To a Military relic hunter, you can gleam the location of training bases and encampments from the opening pages.  Might find a virgin site that way. thumbsup

Both good reads and nice finds! I live an hour from Ft. Lewis. It has an interesting history for certain!

Whatever it is, it is valuable. If nothing else for the lesson learned or simply the experience of having been there.
