A buddy of mine just got one. I tried it out in his living room and it works great. It picked up the nails in the floor, I adjusted it to reject iron and threw a penny on the floor and it picked it up rigt away, It works great. I was considering buying myself one until I realized there is no headphone jack, not that it would be too difficult to wire one in.

I got to see the EX in action today. In about 20 minutes it located a bunch of trash and a Hotweels Car made in 1980 it was a 37 Bugati in almost perfect condition burried about 8 inches down.

Just thought I would add that I was not very impressed with the Bounty Hunter brand. The EX is very irratic and not very consistent.
