 This woodpecker was making a lot of noise at my neighbors today.
He wasn't to happy when I showed him the damage to his gazebo.

Have one that color, coming to my feeders, he's smaller than that one.

Maybe he knows there's some termites in there.

Carpenter ants? Ooo, I hate those guys, they can eat a whole bathroom floor and start on the wall studs.

I think that one is a Hairy Woodpecker, and your smaller one excavator, would be a Downy. I love woodpeckers, but I haven't had one damage a building or tree.

i had one that stayed close to my dogs house
and when he started pecking, my dog went nuts .
