Small piece of lead found on an overgrown abandoned 1920's road base. Front back & side pics. What is it?

Im thinking its just a smashed clinch on type fishing sinker. But any others ideas welcome.

I dont know. Someone probably cut a piece of silver for soldering. dontknow

Maybe the lead is a very small seal.

that lead looks as if it was mixed to form a pot lead ? or was is sand poured? button was a thought

If it was a old clinch sinker then U only got 1/2 of it for in its condition It should be ready to split In 1/2 where original cut was??
