*update*
After posting the following I realized it was Fri. night, and that means Mega game. So I dump some
change from my clad jar and grab 8 quarters for 2 tickets. Hmmm, one looks kinda funny, like the
blinding light we all long to see at the bottom of a hole, or a plug ..  Grin  Its a 64d George.
I may have pouched it along with other shiny surface quarters but who knows. Don't worry, I won't be scoring this one Brett.  laughing7 Just glad I didn't spend it on another losing ticket. Especially at today's value.. $3.30

Well, I've been pounding the turf lately trying to get caught back up with Brett again.
We have a local hunt planned tomorrow at a new spot or two so I was hoping to even the score
before we headed out there.  Grin
I decided to go with my 12" coil today in hopes of deeper silver at some spots that we've pounded into submission. Namely the Honey Hole and the Morgan field. The HH wouldn't even give up a
zincoln today so off to the Morgan field where I scored a Barber dime last week. The 53-s Rosie was at 5-6" and I don't think I've ever been so happy digging one.  hello2

Hope you guys had a great Holiday and got some swinging in today!!

Ahh!  The smart play on the lottery, saving one quarter!  I only contribute to the general fund once every six months or so when I feel like I have nothing left to lose.

Looks like someone nabbed that quarter in '64 and stashed it for 45 years before spending it.  Really nice!  Nice job.

Wow!  That '64 George looks absolutely perfect!  Are you sure someone didn't crack open your proof set?  LOL.. I'm pretty sure you don't have a '64 proof set though..

Congrats on catching up to me!  Now the first to 65 buys the loser an Large Hot McChocolate.  Dig those nickel signals! Smiley
