I got to thinking about something the other day. Who acually owns the money in your wallet ?  I mean you worked for it, and you earned it. But you didn't make it and distribute it to everyone so they can use it. It doesn't have my name or some type of trademark from me on it. I did not produce it, so in essence we are acually borrowing money to make a purchase.

I can't just walk up to somebody and say that is my dollar, give it to me. The government/ feds could however. They are the ones that made the money and distributed the money, so all of the money floating around, in reality belongs to the government/feds.

So if all of this is true, we are all in debt to the government, from each and every purchase that we make. I geuss that was part of the plan many years ago when they decided to go away from the gold standard. By doing so, they created a nation of slaves to the government.

" A government big enough to give you everything you want is a government big enough to take from you everything you have " ----- Thomas Jefferson

Two quotes to ponder:
Render unto Ceasar what is Ceasar's
He who steels my purse, steels trash, Twas mine, tis his, and has made slaves of thousands

The subject of precious metal is an odd place for who owns paper money.

It's all a matter of semantics to me. I live on so little that I don't see the point of the government storming the homes of the average citizen to claim it. How about you?

Technically, the Federal reserve owns all the money in the country, not the government. Contrary to what most people think, the Federal reserve is a private entity, and is "hired" by the government to print currency, and issue it, effectively loaning the money to the government at interest. ITs basically a giant Ponzi scheme.
