This will help dispel some of the naysayers about our metal detector of choice. I found this today in a park in Louisiana. It is my first gold ring and I have been actively doing this for about 2 months. Keep the faith.

Hey man that's an awesome find. Pay no attention to the naysayers. I have yet to find any gold with my BH but I have found some pretty awesome stuff at locations heavily hit by the "premium" detectors. Keep on swingin' and keep on postin' those finds!

Capt1989,

Very nice find, and all those people who own other machines will still insist that the Bounty Hunter is a beginner model, and will not stack up to theirs.

By the way, yesterday I went out with my Lonestar and found a Army US collar pin, and a old baseball medal at a old homesite. I will post pictures later.

Again, excellent find.
