I found a free book online called "Myths and Legends of Our Own Land as to Buried Treasure and storied waters, cliffs and mountains" for you all in the New England area. It was written in 1852, and if you can get past the myths of ghostly protected treasure, you might be able to get some leads. Either way, it's kind of fun to read..Enjoy!!

True to the color of legends. The Maine coast is full of folklore of pirate treasure. I welcome any information where I might extract any new clues as to the where abouts of their vast booty. Thank-You thumbsup
