Kinda funny how this banner find ticked off all the holier than thou, self-serving CRH's and they all want this thread deleted. Why not do them one better by completely removing the CRH forum from TNet as it breeds this selfish mentality and will help eliminate any new competition for the CHOSEN ONES. Thank god the rest of us TH'ers don't have the CRH mentality or TNet would be a vile, ugly place. JJ

I'm very happy for you, it's such a great find. It makes one wonder just how these silver coins made it to the bank in rolls. I visualize a person in desperate need of money or a stolen stash that was cashed in for face value to elude detection. This is not the first time I have heard of this happening.

Whew - one more banner find gets posted and us CRH will be safe for a while and my six weeks of fame will be done. This post has finally made it to the end of the top banner. I can't believe how many emails I've had from people looking to buy these silver coins. This find also got posted on another blog which led to a few more solicitations. It doesn't seem to have had much of an effect in this area as I keep finding customer rolls at banks and getting occasional nice numismatic finds. Got a nice Peace dollar the other day! Hope everyone is also finding some nice treasures out there!

Holy crap!  This is possibly the most banner thing ever!  Unless someone pulls out a sunken pirate ship full of gold, I don't think anyone will be topping this.  What do you estimate your 'profit' on this deal is?

Have been following this and the best estimate I can give is at $2,700,
give or take a little.

Nice to see this thread pop up. I almost forgot what it looked like. December 2009 was an amazing month for me, I also got my one and only dream box, it had 120 90% and about 25 40%. One month doubled my finds for the year for 90%. Just goes to show you never know. Been pretty slow for 2010 as far as boxes go - hope it picks up this winter.  headbang Oh yea - I did pick up a nice new camera - you gotta reward yourself sometimes.
