I guess I am the original computer dummy. I can't for the life of me get a photo on a post. All the instructions assume that we have had a computer on our laps since the cradel. Help. I have some interesting photos to post.

Look for the "Add Images" below where you type in your text for posting.

Click on "Browse"

This will bring up the area on your computer where the photos are. You can change to Desktop, My Documents, etc to find the photo you want. Click on "Open" in that box when you find it.
Then click "Post"

If you want more than one photo per post, click on "more attachments" , beside "Browse" and repeat.

kenley--are all of the photos you want to post resized?  Sometimes when I forget to resize a pic., it won't let me post it.

What is supposed to happen when you click on open? The photo opens and then what? Sorry for being such a pain.

I'm going to start at the first step and try( Grin) to explain from there, although I'm not really qualified to be doing this Cheesy.
First step:  next to "Add Images", click "Browse...."  Another box(its like a "pop-up" on your screen) will open that will let you "select" the image you want from your computer.  You choose the image you want by "clicking" on it.  After you click on the picture you want, that "picture file" should be in the "file name" box.  Next, click "open" and this should put the image code(for lack of a better computer term) in the box next to "browse".  Which will look something like this: C:\Users\Pictures\2009\IMG_3500.JPG.
Last step, if you're finished, is click the "Post" button.  This should start the uploading process to TNet.

Now, did I confuse you even more? I hope not cause I'd like to see some of your pictures hello.

Appreciate it Sandcreek, I wasn't waiting long enough. My Dad's family lived on sandcreek a couple of years and I wanted to find the old home place, but never got a chance.

Now, if you go to PAINT, open up your picture.

Then, click on "Image" (in your Paint file), and it will open up a drop-down menu that says "flip/rotate - and then "resize/skew".  Click on the "resize/skew".

It will open another menu that says "horizontal/vertical" and will have a value of 100%.  If you want to make the image smaller, make the number less than the 100 - if you want it larger, make the number more that 100 (we usually need to make them smaller.

Make sure you make them even - if you make the 100 an 80, in horizontal, make it 80 in the vertical box.  Then click on "ok".

You can save the picture at that size,(click "save") or you can make it a separate picture, click "save as" and rename it.

If you didn't like the results, BEFORE YOU SAVE IT, click "edit" (on the paint program) and then a drop down menu will appear, and then click "undo", it will bring the picture back to the original.
