Well Vicki wanted a little RR in KC I went hunting with Roger and his friends. Two days later I was sicker than a dog. I didn't have the strength to drive us home so my youngest daughter drove us back. There goes the vacation. Hope to get back on track here soon.

Want to read the rest, but am working hard for a show this weekend, so just gonna say - wish me luck - this is supposed to pay the way for CTH-Stoney.

Unless I'm a day late again.  (and several dollars short)

Update on poor Dan.  Bless his heart, he just can't do anything right when it comes to his body. Poor guy hasn't eaten anything since Sunday. Surgery on Tuesday. Pain on Wed and Thur. His poor belly looks like somebody planted a watermelon seed in him last September and it's still there on full water throttle. Huge belly!  Gas!  Finally after 48 hours, they had pity on him and hooked him up to morphine and nausea meds. He called me just before the full effects went in and said, "Don't come to the hospital. Go home and have fun. I'm ... slee...p...i...n..g ... So I guess I'll see him tomorrow.  Seriously, we hope he's much better tomorrow, which was supposed to be his coming-home-day, but that ain't gonna happen.  Maybe Monday???

Modifying:  For those not in the know, he had 4" of colon cut out. He's 61. If he'd had his colonoscopy 5 years ago, this would be a no-show. All gals and guys 55 or older, go get it done. I had mine 3 weeks ago. Had polyps removed (many), and nothing more due for 5 years. It's serious and painless. Get it done, please.

In the meanwhile, THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORTS!!  And Alden, behave yourself!!  Judie can't take too much more from you!!!

By request......

Poor little "Snookums", needs to go outdoors once in a while. So, my darling wife decided to install a little door with hinges, so "Snookums" can go outside whenever she wants. My wife is very clever and handy with tools, so I decided to let her "handle" the installation all by herself. (Actually, she really doesn't want any help from me
because I just might to tell her "how" to do it, or "where" to install it!) She is always telling me, "Just because I'm blonde, doesn't mean I can't do anything"!

So, I decided to just sit back and videotape her while she is working. (Besides, it's HER cat, and I never did like that fleabag, anyway!)

Being the thoughtful and understanding husband that I am, it's only right that I applaud her for a "Job-Well-Done"!

Oh, did I mention that my wife is "Blonde"?

Okay, it's time to watch the video!

This is for Dan and excuse the x-rated parts, I didn't write it but I bet he feels this way. If I offend you by posting this,  I offer my apologies and you can write me an email telling me what a low life I am and my parents didn't raise me right!  If my parents were still alive they would give me a dirty look I'm sure!

I'm in the Austin, Tx area and it is cloudy, damp and about 39 degrees.  I came down to visit my daughter and get away from the darn old Oklahoma global warming weather.  At home it's 27 degrees and snowing with 4 to 6 inches of new snow on the ground!  I was heading home tomorrow but I believe I'd rather wait a day and go home Monday instead.  By then the roads should be clear.  It's been high 70s here all week with short sleeves and a lot of people with shorts until this morning when the front rolled in.  I wish you folks up north would close the door so we can warm up a little!  Glad to see Burdie is feeling better too.  Monty

We have eight you can only have one. If you fine more than one cover it up quickly. You can let another lucky soul find it or tell someone where to find one. Here is the fun part. Four are good for grand prizes. The others are gag prizes or small prizes. It has nothing to do with the brass disk. You receive one ticket for a chance at the four big prizes when you turn them in.  laughing7

I have to tell the story behind the  brass disc I found.  I came into the camp area pooped out and had not found much of anything.  Warsaw Daddy's son was sitting there and jokingly told me that there was supposed to be a disc in a wooded area but you would have to be an Indian to find it.  I told him I was 1/4 Cherokee on both sides of my family and bet him I could find it.  So, I took out through the briars and brambles and found it within ten minutes!  I came back to camp and gloated all over the place.  Actually it was leaning up against a stump in plain sight.  I could see where someone had been digging and covering up the holes about ten steps from where I found it!  My prize was a SilverUmax detector that I still have and use all the time as my backup.  You just never know what might happen.  Monty
