Any way Mr and Mrs Hakins an A$$ is the better 1/2 (at least they think they are) of a MDer! They sit around and do what ever it is they do! all the hunters know is everytine they walk by the A$$ group they are laughing about something! Go back into the Hunt thread an look at past hunts there are some post all about the a$$ GROUP! Anyway they always have a great time!

Sounds fun, will have to wait to see how things are going....
Eagle Scout Court of Honor, sons are graduating, 2 family reunions, paying for a new sewer line and still trying to convince the Mrs I am healed up enuff from surgery that she can now buy me that Harley that she secretly wants me to have (just hasn't realized it yet).

Monty, I think the original site has been changed to a 20 acre field. I'm just guessing but that should be larger than last years I think.......?? We could always go out of town a ways and get in a line across and start on the Chisolm Trail itself and go for a couple of miles. Maybe we could find some petrified cow chips!!! Steve |

Well Monty lets see. We have 39 acrers to hunt and If we blind fold everyone it will seem like 78 acears. We have around 35 now and I will probably shut it off at 50 to 55.
On another matter if you remember you gave me t-shirt sizes. I for got to tell you about them. The shirts are designed by our High School art department and printed by our Student Council. The money goes to both programs. The cost of the shirts are $6.00 paid when you get here. I did not ask if you wanted one on the form Daaa. The shirt is Natural color or you might say light tan. If you ask for pocket the design is on back. If no pocket the design will be on the front. So since I didn't plan very well on the shirts you will have to email me or post that you want one or more. If I don't hear from you I assume you would rather not have one. Sorry about the extra work. I will need to know by first week in April.

I made a post on the main sight for this trip, but wanted to make sure everyone knows....I won't be there as I had planned and looked so forward to.It is all on the main forum regarding this trip and, wuite frankly, I don't want to even have type it all in again.
Bottom line is I am having complications from my surgery and have to have another.

Well, I'm counting on him having good taste. His wifey and kids will be there, they'll be having a great time with all the crazy Rowdy Bunch. He may swim with his kids and Gypsy's kids in the snake infested creek but I doubt it. Videos will be made and sold for sure!!! Steve |

Like Mel, I posted this on the main page too... but I wanted to post it here as well.  Alright, well I wanted to let everyone know... Hannah will hopefully be coming with me to the hunt!! Her dad finally had a change of heart and said it was fine to go and camp out with all of us. I'm just waiting to see if she's still able to come as a non-hunter or not. I sure hope she can, because she's looking forward to meeting many of you... Bran <>< |

M nty. Yep, I'm glad we are too! Haha, if I weren't coming, there would be NO chance that she'd be allowed to go. Her father trusts me and knows I'll take good care of her, like I always do. And no, it's doubtful she'd be digging anything. lol I might talk her into tagging along with me for a bit, but I think she'll just get bored again. Maybe if I can find someone's spare detector, I can try to persuade her into at least trying to detect. Then she might not be so bored following me. But if she finds anything good, she's done. lol Can't have her showing me up (which probably won't be too hard!!) Bran <>< |
