Interesting painting

Found this interesting painting at a thrift store....seems to be some sort of middle eastern depiction of warriors on horses.

Back has a sticker stating....
"Lackmalere   #2250
Polo Excursion
           88233-4
Chester Wonderlin"

Any info on the possible origin, country, or age would be lovely.

Well I did get some information on that picture. It seems that it came from the Chester Wonderlin Galleries in Bloomfield, IL. I am not certain that gallery is still in existence, but you now have a starting point. From what I saw in one area, that may well be an antique, you need to see who the artist is. Is there a signature on the painting? If not, you do have enough info to research it later, that tag has all the info you need, including the paintings name "Polo Excursion". Good luck!!
