I'm new to the hobby. I hunt around the Holly Springs area. Looking for someone in the area to give me some pointers.

Detector used Detector(s) Used - Tesoro Bandido II and DeLeon. also a Detector Pro Headhunter Diver, and a Garrett BFO called The Hunter. Just added a Garrett Ace 250.

            My Great Grandfather fought in that area, and I would like to know more about it also. He was a CSA Cavalry officer.

As you can see my folks were with the 21st. Was your GGF with Forrest? I live in Texas, but did the Brices Crossroads renactment with my Arty unit in Savannah last June. All of that was pretty much close to Holly Springs.
