Wow! went out yesterday evening and im glad i did ,I found this awesome 3/4 groove axe it is 6 inches long and 3 inches wide it is so nice well balanced I couldnt hardly hunt after I found it I was so happy also found some points it was a awesome hunt.the insitu pic just makes it that much more special.

I just nominated this to the banner and I hope everyone else who views this does the same. If that Axe isn't a banner worthy find then nothing is. That is one of the finest field found Axes I have ever seen.

wow.. I am envious. I believe anyone who has seen this post should be as well... Sure beats finding arrowheads, not that finding arrowheads isn't a great find.

Very fine axe bud! They don't come out of the ground looking that good much anymore. I've found probalby 20 axes and that's better than any of them that I've found. Congrats on the very nice piece.

Very nice artifact. YOUR find of the year would beat most, but not everyones. LOL Just giving you a hard time. I have been fortunate to find a few of these great relics. 10,000 complete arrowheads were probably made for every axe that was (Berner). Congrats on your banner find!
