Posted Jun 12, 2010, 05:33:20 pm

Hi all been spending my hunting time still on the side of Battery hill near some of the old hard rock mines. After spending the first few trips clearing all targets in the clay, i decided the area was clear enough to change the settings on my GPX to deep search. Turned the Gain to max 15 and turned target volume and threshhold right up. Turned the stablizer right down to reduce excess noise.Moved really slowly over ground all ready covered. Took me hours to find a couple of targets. One being a old hand saw stud and the second a piece of saddle reef quartz full of veins of gold.  Grin Grin Grin In good judgement i think theres over 25 grams of gold in the quartz  .later today i will be heading back out.

that find is high on my list.  Tongue

Hope you find more gold on this place.
