I'm happy to announce the formation of a new club in the Dayton OH area known as "Dayton Diggers". Please visit the webpage at http://www.daytondigger.com/DaytonDiggers.html  We had 6 members at the first meeting and lots of emails from folks interested.  We look forward to many years together.
Thanks, Steve

Dayton Diggers now includes 12 members. We had a cookout at our last meeting and will be discussing a group outing at our next meeting, see website for meeting dates. Everyone is welcome to attend, membership costs $15.00 per year with Dayton Diggers logo iron/sew on patch or just $10.00 without patch. A quarterly newsletter is printed and we have monthly meetings, usually on or about the third Sunday of the month at 7PM.
Thanks, Steve

Sunday, Nov. 8, '09 the club had a very nice outing in southern Ohio.  I only found junk, but a couple of the guys found some nice stuff.  Some of the group finds were: a memorial penny, merc dime, 1886 half cent, lots of rusty nails, pop bottle caps, and more rusty stuff.  I look forward to the next outing.  If you're in the Dayton area hope you join us.
