DigginGirl and I will be heading for Myrtle Beach on Saturday morning. Gonna do some deep sea fishing, exploring and diggin!!!!
We will be back about the 1st of July.

I'm waiting to see how your trip turns out Dig..Find some good stuff and lots of fish....BTW..if you like eating seafood..Try Benjamin's Seafood near the north end of Myrtle Beach...lots and lots and lots of food....lol

Hey everyone,
Haven't had a chance to do any fishing and very little detecting. Been busy having a good time.
It's humid here....and crowded. Seems like everyone and their brother and sister are here. Traffic is a nightmare.
We have spent alot of time in the pool. The beach is nice. We found a Magic Shop at the flea market on Sunday. That's a hobby of mine, some of you know this. Found a couple of cool tricks I haven't learned. I know them now!!!! We are going to a water park tomorrow and fishing on Wednesday. I'm sure I'll be sunburned by the end of that, Mel.
Rest of the week is up in the air. I'll check back later.

I think we are going to go to a gem diggin spot in North Carolina on the way home. Gem Mountain, I think it is called. Has anyone been there???

There's a place called Sheffield Mine outside of Franklin NC. I don't quite know where in NC that is, but it's a thought if you were headed that way anyway.

Have a great time! I know this sounds strange but the cornbread at the House of Blues is killer! Broadway on the beach is a cool place for everyone in the family. Hope you find some gold on the beach! I love Myrtle Beach! |
