You may not.... Spam other users through private messages or email.

You may not.... Post, upload, email, transmit or otherwise make available any inappropriate, inaccurate, abusive, hateful, vulgar, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, or unlawful content.
You may not.... Post content that falsely expresses or implies that such content is endorsed by TreasureNet.
You may not.... Create user accounts under false or fraudulent pretenses.
You may not.... Post, upload, email or transmit or otherwise make available any Content that infringes any copyright, patent, trademark, or other proprietary right of any party, unless You are the owner of the Rights or have the permission of the owner to post such content.
You may not.... Post, upload, email or transmit chain letters or otherwise make available messages that promote pyramid schemes, or disruptive commercial messages or advertisements, or anything else prohibited by law.
You may not.... Impersonate another person or entity.
You may not.... Use TreasureNet services for any illegal purpose.
You may not.... Use any robots, spiders, site search/retrieval applications, or other such devices to retrieve or index any portion of TreasureNet services or collect information about users for any purpose including sending spam.
You may not.... Provide instructional information about illegal activities.
You may not.... Advertise, offer for sale, or for trade, or for free, tobacco, alcohol, or weapons / firearms (including knives)
You may not... Promote physical harm or injury against any group or individual or transmit any viruses, worms, defects, Trojan horses, or any items of a destructive nature.
You may not... Post email messages from other people that were intended or assumed were solely for you.
You may not... upload avatars that... exploit or ridicule human deformity, disability, inferiority or upload avatars that contain personal attacks and/or foul language.
TreasureNet is not responsible for removing or editing any post. Information you post WILL NOT be considered copyrighted or otherwise protected from use by anyone else. We make no guarantees or warrantees as to the length of time posted information will remain online. We reserve the right to delete or modify any post, avatar or image, at any time, and for any reason. We reserve the right to limit any users' access to any feature, including the ability to search, post, browse, upload avatars, etc.. We reserve the right to ban any user, and/or delete any user account (including all posts) at any time, for any reason. Bans are not subject to member review, approval, protest, or appeal.
Persons who post on behalf of, or act as proxies for, banned members will also be subject to banning.
You agree to keep your password confidential.
FORUM GUIDELINES Posts should be suitable for all ages, on topic, concise, and courteous.
If you disagree with another member's post, make your comments in a polite and respectful manner.
Don't "SHOUT" in large type. Use bold, red, or other special type only when necessary. (Exception: birthday greetings, special congratulations, etc.)
Don't use profane or obscene language.
Don't attack, provoke, insult, or deliberately offend anyone.
All members are equal, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, education, or experience. Never take a superior tone with, or "talk down" to, anyone.
When the purpose of the original post has been fulfilled, the thread should end. If you want to talk about something else, start a new thread in an appropriate forum.
If another member has seriously violated these rules, please notify a moderator immediately. Be specific. Include any URL's including the http info. However, don't just report suspicions, or bad feelings about other members. Members at this site may organize various hunts and events, but TreasureNet in no way guarantees the safety or honesty of its participants or organizers, or of any hunt/events legitimacy, or the entertainment value of such hunts/events. STATUS OF MATERIALS POSTED By posting your information at TreasureNet, you grant TreasureNet full publishing and redistribution rights to it. We log your IP address, operating system and browser software. We analyze this data in whole to determine traffic patterns, determine webpage design, and in turn, hopefully, build a better website. A WARNING ABOUT ONLINE FORUM CLASSIFIEDS
In recent years, online classifieds scams have increased and have affected many people. They pose threats to both sellers and buyers. Typical Examples: (there are others!)
A scammer posing as a seller may post an ad for an item that he/she doesn't really have.
The seller will then ask for money, and after receiving it, refer the buyer to the shipping company who is supposed to send the item to the buyer. The buyer waits for few days and contacts the seller, but there's no answer. The buyer tries again for couple of more days... but still no answer. Finally the buyer decides to call the shipping company with the reference number for the item. The shipping company replies that they don't have anything related to this reference number or it is not for your item.
A scammer posing as a buyer may ask for the item to be shipped, and promise "the check is in the mail..." but the check never arrives. There is an almost unlimited variety of potential scams. From simple to complex, from petty amounts to millions of dollars. We strongly urge you to use caution when making deals online!
If anyone makes a statement such as "I am a valued/respected member of TreasureNet, trust me", BE WARY! If anyone makes a statement such as "the operators at TreasureNet.com know and trust me", THAT IS FALSE! We do not vouch for the credibility or honesty of anyone at TreasureNet! (but we still love most of you! ;))
Be especially wary of any dealings with people outside your local area.
We recommend you always verify the person's identity and location you are dealing with before completing any deal... Have them call you, and confirm their phone number. If their phone number is blocked or unidentified USE EXTREME CAUTION! While confirming their phone number is no guarantee of their legitimacy or honesty, it is one thing you can do to lessen the risk of being scammed!
